A few weeks ago I posted about Jochen's JOTA Badge blanket got stolen. However, I was indeed happy for him when I received this email:

Hello Scouts... After 6 weeks of horror and many help from the Scouting Ireland and also from my Scoutfriends around the world are my JOTA Badge Blankets back in Germany... Today the paket with my two blankets arrive save in Germany and everythingis ok with the blankets :-) The blankets were taken by a young Venture Scout, but now he knows hismistake... So I´m very happy to hold my collection in my hands. So now I want to say to all of you many thanks for your help. The help and the many mails from everybody of you around the world was really great. I´m happy to be a Scout...MANY THANKS to you and hope we will hear us during the JOTA-JOTI 2008 or ona Camp in the next years... And when you hold a JOTA Badge for my collection please write me a mail...

STOLEN - JOTA Blanket Badge

I received such sad news from our friend DK8ZM:

"Hi PV

During the last night of the Jamboree in Ireland someone is stolen my
Radio scouting and JOTA Badges collection.
This are about 300 rare Badges. Many of you know this collection.
In Ireland at the last day of the Jamboree the most of the scouts
where schocked, that anybody stolen a collection of a Scout...
They are doing here many,but till now there is no luck.
please have a eye open for me, when any Scout want to sell many JOTA
badges or show a big JOTA collection.
Next monday I will send you a mail with a picture of this blanket.
When you want to see which badges are on this blanket you can see it

PLEASE help me that this thief had no fun with this collection.
The police here in Ireland knows allready about this problem and will
also look for them.
I think also many scout here in Ireland.

Kelas 1 – Memasak ala Rimba (Backwoods Cooking)

Satu Patrol terdiri daripada 3 orang peserta

Satu Patrol diberi masa sebanyak 160minit untuk menyediakan hidangan untuk 2 orang, iaitu:
Nasi dalam buluh
Ubi
Roti Lilit
Telur
Minuman
Hidangan Utama * Bahan misteri

5 minit sebelum pertandingan bermula, bahan misteri akan diberikan kepada patrol. Bahan misteri adalah WAJIB digunakan untuk hidangan utama. Contoh bahan misteri : ikan, udang, ayam, dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan akan menyediakan bahan-bahan yang wajib digunakan seperti berikut:
Jagung
Beras
Telur
Ubi
Bahan Misteri

Patrol dikehendaki membawa kayu api, buluh dan peralatan memasak, pinggan dsb.

Patrol juga dikehendaki membawa batu-bata, kepingan zink agar kawasan memasak kelihatan kemas.

Hanya bahan-bahan semulajadi boleh digunakan untuk memasak dan menghidupkan api.

Bahan perisa dan rempah serta sayur-sayuran adalah dibenarkan.

Markah akan diberi berdasarkan kebersihan, kreativiti, rasa, cara menghidupkan api dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan berhak untuk mengubah dan menambah peraturan pertandingan.

Yuran pertandingan Kelas 1 adalah sebanyak RM 15.00 untuk setiap patrol, termasuk sijil penyertaan dan cenderamata.


Kelas 2 – Memasak ala Moden (Modern Cooking)

Satu Patrol terdiri daripada 2 orang peserta

Satu Patrol diberi masa sebanyak 160minit untuk menyediakan hidangan untuk 2 orang, iaitu:
· Pembuka Selera
· Sup
· Hidangan Utama
· Pencuci Mulut
· Minuman

5 minit sebelum pertandingan bermula, bahan misteri akan diberikan kepada patrol. Bahan misteri adalah WAJIB digunakan untuk hidangan utama. Contoh bahan misteri : ikan, udang, ayam, dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan akan menyediakan bahan-bahan yang wajib digunakan seperti berikut:
Pasta
Ubi kentang
Pisang Emas
Telur
Bahan Misteri

Patrol dikehendaki membawa peralatan memasak (kuali, dapur gas, pinggan dsb.) sendiri. Maksimum hanya dua dapur gas (burners) dibenarkan.

Bahan perisa dan rempah serta sayur-sayuran adalah dibenarkan.

Markah akan diberi berdasarkan kebersihan, kreativiti, rasa, cara penyediaan makanan dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan berhak untuk mengubah dan menambah peraturan pertandingan.

Yuran pertandingan Kelas 1 adalah sebanyak RM 15.00 untuk setiap patrol, termasuk sijil penyertaan dan cenderamata.

Kelas 3 – Kawad Kaki (Asas Perbarisan)

Satu Patrol terdiri daripada 8 ahli Pengakap / Pandu Puteri (termasuk Komander).

Satu senarai arahan kawad akan diberikan oleh Jawatankuasa Pertandingan dan Patrol akan melakukan kawad kaki seperti yang disenaraikan.

Senang diri, Rehat diri dan sedia
Luluskan barisan
Hormat
Maju ke depan (15 langkah) dan tukar langkah
Pusingan - Ke kiri,kanan, belakang, depan
Hetak kaki
Ambil 1 langkah ke depan / belakang
Sebarang pergerakan yang dirasai perlu ( Bebas mengikut pasukan masing-masing)
Segala pergerakan perlu dijalankan dalam dua arah (menghadap pengadil dan menghadap ke kanan pengadil)

Masa yang diperuntukkan untuk kawad kaki adalah 7 minit.

Markah akan diberi berdasarkan kekemasan diri dan pakaian seragam, disiplin, keseragaman kawad kaki, laungan arahan dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan berhak untuk mengubah dan menambah peraturan pertandingan.

Yuran pertandingan Kelas 3 adalah sebanyak RM 10.00 untuk setiap patrol, termasuk sijil penyertaan dan cenderamata.

Kelas 4 – Kawad Kaki (Formasi - Tongkat)

Satu Patrol terdiri daripada 8 ahli Pengakap / Pandu Puteri (termasuk Komander).

Kawad formasi haruslah menggunakan Tongkat Pengakap.

Masa yang diperuntukkan untuk kawad kaki adalah 10 minit.

Markah akan diberi berdasarkan kekemasan diri dan pakaian seragam, disiplin, keseragaman kawad kaki, laungan arahan dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan berhak untuk mengubah dan menambah peraturan pertandingan.

Yuran pertandingan Kelas 4 adalah sebanyak RM 10.00 untuk setiap patrol, termasuk sijil penyertaan dan cenderamata.


Kelas 5 – Model Tapak Perkhemahan dan Gadjet
Satu Patrol terdiri daripada 2 ahli Pengakap / Pandu Puteri.

Masa yang diperuntukkan adalah adalah 120 minit.

Tema untuk Model Tapak Perkhemahan adalah – BROWNSEA ISLAND 1907.

Patrol bolehlah menyediakan tapak / base bersaiz 1 meter X 1 meter (maksimum) sebelum pertandingan. Ini termasuk lanskap (sungai, bukit, dsb.).

Bahan-bahan seperti buluh, rotan, tali boleh dipotong sebelum pertandingan.

Markah akan diberi berdasarkan kreativiti, kekukuhan gadjet dsb.

Jawatankuasa Pertandingan berhak untuk mengubah dan menambah peraturan pertandingan.

Yuran pertandingan Kelas 5 adalah sebanyak RM 10.00 untuk setiap patrol, termasuk sijil penyertaan dan cenderamata.


MAKLUMAT AM

1. Setiap Kumpulan / Sekolah adalah dialu-alukan menghantar sebanyak penyertaan yang boleh.

2. Setiap ahli wajib memakai pakaian seragam Pengakap / Pandu Puteri.

3. Untuk Pertandingan Kelas 1, 2, 3, 4 dan 5, sijil akan diberikan kepada setiap Patrol yang mendapat markah:
a) 60 – 69 Diploma
b) 70 – 79 Gangsa
c) 80 – 89 Perak
d) 90 – 100 Emas

4. 3 Patrol terbaik dalam Pertandingan Kelas 1, 2, 3, 4 dan 5 akan mendapat Anugerah Best Patrol, 1st Runner-Up dan 2nd Runner-Up.

5. TARIKH TUTUP PENYERTAAN ADALAH 15hb SEPTEMBER 2008.

6. Sebarang bentuk komunikasi (senarai arahan kawad, maklumat terkini, dsb) akan dilakukan menerusi emel. Oleh yang demikian, setiap Patrol haruslah memberi alamat emel agar maklumat dapat dihantar dengan cepat.
